RB Edwin Baker- Junior
WR B.J. Cunningham- Senior
CB Johnny Adams- Junior
S Trenton Robinson- Senior
K Dan Conroy- Junior
Michigan State surprised the Big Ten last year when they exploded. The Spartans are loaded almost everywhere. At quarterback they have Kirk Cousins. Cousins isn't showy but he gets the work done and plays smart. He has a great backfield behind him thanks to junior back Edwin Baker and electric sophomore Le'Veon Bell. The options for Cousins are more limited with the loss of Mark Dell and tight end Charlie Gantt. But, he still has senior B.J. Cunningham and Keith Nichol to throw too. The offensive line took some hits but will protect Cousins all the same. Guards Joel Foreman and Chris McDonald lead the line. They're part of the reason why Baker and Bell had so much success in 2010. The Spartans defense lost their best player in linebacker Greg Jones. But, they still have so much talent on the "D". Defensive end Tyler Hoover has some skill and nose tackle Kevin Pickelman. Without Jones the linebacker core only has one returning starter in junior Chris Norman. The secondary has much talent with corner back Johnny Adams. Safety Trenton Robinson is a ball hawk who makes plays. Kicker Dan Conroy is unheard of but special teams is very important to Michigan State.

Heisman Hopeful: Edwin Baker
Big Ten: 2nd
