College Football Picks Week One

9 South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt
The college football season kicks off with a war of SEC teams. With Marcus Lattimore healthy the Gamecocks will be heavy favorites over Vandy. Not too fast. The Commodores have experience on offense from Jordan Rodgers and Zac Stacy. If the offensive line can keep Jadeveon Clowney and Devin Taylor from murdering Rodgers they might have a chance. The player I'm watching? Connor Shaw is now the starter for sure after last year's craziness. How will he react to his new duties? Lattimore and Shaw run all over Vanderbilt's weak rush defense South Carolina wins.
South Carolina, 28 Vanderbilt, 17

Washington State vs. BYU
As good as the Michigan-Alabama game is, and the Michigan State-Boise matchup, I'm just as excited about this one. BYU could be dangerous under Riley Nelson and a bunch of talented receivers including Cody Hoffman and Ross Apo. Meanwhile, a usually unexciting Washington State team unveils Mike Leach and his new Air Raid offense. BYU's defense is vastly underrated and they should be able to play strong against Jeff Tuel and the Cougars. In order for a win, BYU must score points and a lot of them. That means a big game from Nelson and solid contributions on the ground from Michael Alisa. If they do, BYU should win easily.
BYU, 34 Washington State, 24

24 Boise State vs. 13 Michigan State
Both these teams will be breaking in a new quarterback as Boise debuts Joe Southwick and the Spartans Andrew Maxwell. Maxwell impressed me in the spring game and he'll be playing a Broncos defense that lost a lot of leadership. Expect a big game from Spartans back Le'Veon Bell as he has the talent to do serious damage against this rebuilding front seven of Boise. Meanwhile, for Boise they have to get a lot of good play from Southwick. The good thing is that he is passing to talented receivers in Matt Miller and tight end Gabe Linehan. Though this defense could end up shutting down this Broncos offense. Actually, they will shut down this offense.
Michigan State, 31 Boise State, 14

2 Alabama vs. 8 Michigan
The game of the week features two teams who could end up vying for a championship slot. Alabama lost a lot of talent on both sides of the ball but should still have a good shot at beating the Wolverines. A.J. McCarron could end up having a big year if he continues what he did in last year's National Championship game. Though that won't be how the Crimson Tide can win. They need big play from their reloaded defense which includes tackle Jesse Williams and linebackers Nico Johnson and C.J. Mosley. Will they be able to shut down Denard Robinson and Fitzgerald Toussaint. If they do, it's a win.
Alabama, 27 Michigan, 24

College Basketball Preview: 2. Kentucky Wildcats

2. Kentucky Wildcats 38-2 in 2011 (16-0 SEC)

Nerlens Noel
John Calipari finally got the monkey off his back. His Wildcats won 38 games, undefeated in the SEC and then handled Kansas in the National Championship. Much of that was due to his freshmen class that included Player of the Year Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague. Now all three are gone, including veterans Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb and Darius Miller. So, the Wildcats number two in the nation? Yes, because, as Calipari usually does, he reloaded. In comes yet another Top Five recruiting class. A number of under the radar bench players come in and take a bigger role. All that could mean a National Championship if Calipari has enough experience to win it, that is.

Backcourt: Shooting guard Archie Goodwin could be the next big backcourt thing in Lexington. He has the moves to get open shots and also can shoot. He is more of a distributor then Marquis Teague and Doron Lamb. Starting alongside Goodwin in the backcourt could be Twany Beckham, a transfer from Mississippi State. A senior, Beckham shouldn't be a prolific scorer but he has more experience and smarts than Teague. Also sure to get big time minutes is another transfer, Ryan Harrow. Harrow is a sophomore with a lot of potential. He can be dangerous but he hasn't got the minutes to be that way in his fitst seasons. Junior Jarrod Polson provides a much needed backup to Harrow or Beckham. Brian Long nor Sam Malone got much chances to prove themselves but with the losses they should in their sophomore years.

Kyle Wiltjer
Frontcourt: As good as Anthony Davis was last season, freshman Nerlens Noel could be even better. Noel is a monster shot blocker, can rebound and will score also. He provides a huge presence at six feet, ten inches, that can hang with anyone in the nation. Calipari also brought in another dominant center in seven-footer Willie Cauley. Cauley may not start but he'll be Calipari's top bench option in the frontcourt. Yet another freshman should give the Wildcats a Kidd-Gilchrist role they had last year. That freshman is Alex Poythress who is athletic and has good size. He'll do damage inside and out and can also rebound. Poythress is a 5-star recruit who Calipari managed to sneak away from Vanderbilt and Florida. The unknown recruit of 2011, Kyle Wiltjer now has the minutes to do serious damage. He can hit shots from three and has the height to rebound along with the rest of this frontcourt. How good is Wiltjer? I have him as an easy All-SEC forward and maybe even an All-American possibility.

College Basketball Preview: 1. Indiana Hoosiers

1. Indiana Hoosiers 27-9 in 2011 (11-7 Big Ten)

Victor Oladipo
Indiana started off 2011 flaming hot. Christian Watford hit a three pointer to seal the deal against number one Kentucky and then Tom Crean's squad handled Ohio State. Then, a cold streak emerged as they often do. In the end, the Hoosiers season ended in the Sweet 16 to a Kentucky team that would win a National Championship, which seemed about right. Now, almost everyone returns for these Hoosiers including sophomore Cody Zeller, the senior Watford and speedy junior Victor Oladipo. Expectations are high for Crean, the highest in a while. They must respond and prove they are better then Louisville and Kentucky.

Backcourt: Victor Oladipo has the talent to be All-Big Ten material. Oladipo has the speed and size to dominate at the shooting guard position. He is also equipped with a nasty crossover and a nice touch. Freshman Yogi Ferrell could end up starting at the point guard position as Indiana's top incoming recruit. Ferrell has speed and great court vision. He can blow past defenders and get to the basket but can also do damage on the perimeter. Expect senior Jordan Hulls to also get major minutes. Hulls is small but he does have speed and experience. Junior Maurice Creek has good size and has potential but his career at Indiana has been filled with issues. Expect contributions from sophomore Remy Abell and IPFW transfer Jonny Marlin.

Cody Zeller
Frontcourt: Sophomore Cody Zeller had a solid freshman season but way bigger things are expected from him in his second season in Indiana. Zeller is 7 feet tall with the wingspan to be a master shot blocker. He has good moves inside and has improved his court vision. Watford has proved before he can score in bunches but he doesn't get much respect. He has the size to be a rebounder but he can also hit three pointers and long range jumpers. On most teams, Watford could be a solid number one option but could be up to the third option for the Hoosiers. The Hoosiers gained a dominat low post presence in seven-footer Peter Jurkin from South Sudan. The three-star recruit is a master rebounder and blocker but he is raw. Freshman Jeremy Hollowell was a big time recruit for Crean as he provides another all-around talent to go along with Watford. Derek Elston and junior Will Sheehey provide some much needed depth.

College Football Preview: The Great Heisman Race

Matt Barkley, QB, USC
When Barkley announced his return for his senior season, he became the leader of the race for the Heisman. Lane Kiffin will have him throwing 30 to 40 times a game thanks to the wide outs he has. Against lackluster secondaries in the Pac 12, Barkley should rack up yards and touchdowns. He'll have the best Trojan quarterback season since Matt Leinart won the Heisman. Winning a championship would certainly help Barkley and he must have strong games against Oregon and Utah in order to gain national exposure. Though, if Barkley stays healthy he'll have a big oppurtunity to bring home the Heisman for USC.

Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin
It will be certainly be tough to replicate Ball's 2011 but anything close to that should make him a finalist. Ball may not be healthy to start after the brutal beating he took this offseason but he has the talent to make up for it even if he plays less games. The Badgers should run and run due to the fact they are breaking in a new quarterback this season. Like every Heisman contender success should help Ball and the Badgers could have a lot of it.

Denard Robinson, QB, Michigan
Robinson is the most explosive player in the nation but unfortunately that doesn't gurantee him a Heisman. Over the past two seasons the thing that has kept Robinson from a Heisman is his passing game. That could be an issue this year also as he loses a lot of quality targets from last season. Though Brady Hoke says he has improved in that area and shouldn't we believe him? Another BCS bowl win would definitely help his stock and so would a strong outing the first week against a tough Alabama team.

De'Anthony Thomas, PM, Oregon
If you're wondering what a PM is crack open a dictionary and you'll see Thomas' face as he defines the term playmaker. Thomas can catch, run and is a beast in the return game for a team that realistically could win a BCS title. The X-factor for him is to get the right amount of touches. Too many could hurt his stock and too little could have the same effect. But Chip Kelly is a smart man and with Thomas' talent you could see him as a finalist.

Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech
Yeah, I know this is a little bit of a stretch. Thomas had a strong first season as starter but putting him in the middle of a Heisman race may be a little bit crazy. But Thomas reminds me firmly of Cam Newton and Robert Griffin, who in case you have had your head buried in sand, have won the past two trophies. Thomas has great size with a huge arm and is a threat to run the football also. Frank Beamer should pass the ball more with an experienced talent like him under center which will help. It will take a lot, but Thomas has the talent to be on this list.

Others to Consider
Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia Huge arm, pass-happy offense. Easily gets on this list.
Robert Woods, WR, USC Cue the Brandon Weeden-Justin Blackmon montage.
Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina If he can stay healthy he could be a lock.
Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma Will he the be the quarterback of the 2011 first half or second half?

David Amerson, DB, NC State No Tyrann Mathieu so I have to put some defender.

NFL Preview: AFC North

1. Baltimore Ravens 12-4 in 2011 Roster

Once more the Ravens were one win away from a Super Bowl but a close loss to the Patriots ended a terrific year. Now, with some new faces (Ma'ake Kemoeatu, Jacoby Jones) and some old (Ray Lewis, Ed Reed) that Super Bowl berth could be closer then it has been for a while. First, the Ravens must get a better year from Joe Flacco and must remain healthy as they have already lost Terrell Suggs to injury. If everything falls into place, expect to see the Ravens playing on Super Bowl weekend.

Offense: Joe Flacco had a strong year throwing for 20 touchdowns and 3,610 yards. But, that is just one side of the story. Flacco struggled with turnovers not just interceptions, in which he had 12, but also with fumbles. He has a strong, accurate arm and the smarts to be a prolific quarterback. Baltimore brought in Curtis Painter to backup Flacco, as they should just experiment with him. Ray Rice is the reason the offense works as he runs wild and can catch balls out of the backfield. He is fast and elusive with some power mixed in. He is especially dangerous on screens when teams must cover Anquan Boldin or Torrey Smith heading deep. Ricky Williams retired this off season leaving a gap behind Rice. Williams was helpful as he could provide a bruiser and a quick change of pace from Rice. Now expect to see more Anthony Allen and Temple rookie Bernard Pierce. Flacco doesn't have any Pro Bowl receivers but he has good, solid targets to throw too. Anquan Boldin was more of a deep threat then anything else reeling in an okay 57 receptions for 887 yards. He averaged 15.6 yards per catch though and devastated defensive backs at times. Speedy Torrey Smith is on the verge of stardom entering his second year with the squad. Jacoby Jones won't catch much but he is an interesting third or fourth option. The offensive line has a nice mix of youth and experience headed by tackle Michael Oher, Bryant McKinnie and Matt Birk. Expect second-round pick Kelechi Osemele to get snaps.

Defense: Ever since Ray Lewis stepped on the field for the first time this Ravens defense has been one of the most menacing and best units in the NFL. Lewis is back once more after leading the team in tackles with 95. He has slowed down a little bit over the years but is still one of the elite defenders in the league. The Ravens drafted outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw, who will likely start with  Terrell Suggs out for much of the season. On the line the Ravens have disruptive tackle Haloti Ngata who stands at 6 feet 4 inches and 330 pounds. Terrence Cody also demands attention on the inside. Who will replace Suggs as the team's top pass rusher is only issue on defense. End Pernell McPhee had six last year and will contribute in big ways this year. Also expect Upshaw to make plays in the backfield as he did at Alabama. The secondary is headed by ball-hawking Ed Reed as it has always been. Reed isn't as fast as he once was but he still recorded three interceptions last year and can hit. The team will lean heavily on corner Ladarius Webb who signed a big extension this year after a five interception 2011.

Like I said, if everything  works perfectly these Ravens will be heading to the Super Bowl. But things rarely do in the NFL and the loss of Suggs could be bigger then many may think. Even in this tough division the Ravens are the king.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers 12-4 in 2011 Roster
Pittsburgh rode into the playoffs flying high. Ben Roethlisberger was healthy was a recipe for disaster for other AFC teams and the team they played first? The 8-8 Denver Broncos who had dropped three straight entering the game. But, all that confidence was shattered when Tim Tebow lead the Broncos to a dazzling OT win. Now, the Steelers head into 2012 without a familiar face, Hines Ward, who was basically forced to retire by the team. Another receiver, Mike Wallace, has his future up in the air. So needless to say these Steelers have a number of questions to be answered. But if Big Ben is healthy that should mean Pittsburgh is in contention for a Super Bowl.

Offense: Ben Roethlisberger is a fantastic quarterback leading the Steelers to a Super Bowl win in '08 and 4,000 mark last season. But that was done with Bruce Arians who is now gone replaced by Toddy Haley the former Chiefs head coach. Roethlisberger made it clear he didn't like the hire meaning that could be a huge worry for the Steelers throughout the season. Once Roethlisberger approves of him, if he does, Haley must start working on the ground game as Rashard Mendenhall's health is a problem. Isaac Redman could dominate when given the chance and Jonthan Dwyer has potential but the Steelers would like to stick with Mendenhall. Without Ward the receivers are less experienced but still good. Wallace is explosive and a okay route runner and it showed as he racked up 4,000 plus. Gem Antonio Brown broke out last year also passing 1,000 yards and catching 69 balls. Brown has good hands and makes plays. Tight end Heath Miller doesn't get much respect but he is very important. He is a red zone threat and a solid blocker. The Steelers also added tight end Leonard Pope to play the same role but with less snaps. The offensive line has been criticized and has struggled with health but that should chance with the draftings of guard David DeCastro and tackle Mike Adams. Willie Colon is a psychical player on the left side and center Maurkice Pouncey is maturing.

Defense: With the returns of beasts James Harrison, LaMarr Woodley and Troy Polamulu this Steelers defense should once more be a formidable unit. Harrison does most of his damage as a pass rusher but can also make tackles. Woodley also gets to the quarterback as he recorded 9 sacks in '11. With them on the field Pittsbrugh will rely heavily on Lawrence Timmons to be the premiere tackling linebacker. He had 93 last year and can make plays all over the field. The line doesn't get too much attention mainly because most of the sacks are coming from Harrison or Woodley. But Casey Hampton can still stuff up running lanes. Ziggy Hood has the talents to be a beast on the side. In the secondary the Steelers have two Pro Bowl type players in safeties Ryan Clark and Troy Polamulu. Polamulu is everywhere, on the line, in coverage or tackling the running back. If he stays healthy the Steelers are stacked in the back.

Pittsburgh has a whole lot of questions but their remains a whole lot to love about this team. The Ravens are going to be a tough team to stop at the top of the North but if Haley and Roethlisberger bond expect a Wild Card berth.

3. Cincinnati Bengals 9-7 in 2011 Roster
In the mist of a rookie quarterback, a rookie top receiver, a back who couldn't stay out of trouble and a coach everybody was hoping would get fired the Bengals won nine games and made it to the playoffs. Now, with more experience and confidence the Bengals are hoping for an encore to their surprising 2011 peformance. Though the untold story was that the Bengals were 1-8 last season against teams with winning records a stat that shows this team wasn't as strong as their record.

Offense: Last year A.J. Green exploded catching 65 balls for 1,057 yards and 7 scores. He had maybe the most impressive season for any rookie not named Cam Newton. Green can catch any ball you throw near him and has great speed. If he stays healthy expect two straight Pro Bowls for the receiver. The guy throwing him those 65 catches was another rookie, Andy Dalton. Dalton gained the starting job over Bruce Gradkowski and immediately started producing. He hasn't have a dazzling arm but he is accurate and efficient. Dalton had 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions a pretty good ratio. With more experience that 13 interception stat should slip below ten. The Bengals cleaned up the team by releasing Cedric Benson. In his place they signed one of the most underrated players in the league in BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Green-Ellis usually didn't get 20 carries a game in New England like he will for Cincinnati but he was strangely effective. Another receiving threat for the Bengals is tight end Jermaine Gresham who caught six touchdown passes in 2011. Gresham has good speed for a tight end and fantastic hands. With Jerome Simpson off to Minnesota the second receiver will probably be Jordan Shipley who missed most of last season with an ACL tear. Shipley has good speed and can reel in a lot of catches but is undersized. Rookie Mohamed Sanu is a play maker who could run some formation similar to the Wildcat. On the line Andrew Whitworth is a monster at left tackle. He has good size and plays big. On the other side the Bengals possess maturing Andre Smith who can dominate.

Defense: These may be the most underrated unit in the NFL, a unit that ranked 7th in total defense in the whole NFL. Much of that was thanks to great pressure which was supplied by tackle Geno Atkins and end Jonathan Fanene. Fanene is now gone but this is still a great pass rushing team. Robert Geathers has good moves and has the speed to get to the quarterback from the end. Newly acquired Jamaal Anderson could start in Fanene's place. Tackle Domata Peko won't get too many sacks but he is huge in the middle. The Bengals have a star in linebacker Rey Maualuga who is tough and menacing. He had 88 tackles last season and forced three fumbles. Thomas Howard is another sure tackler who does damage on the outside. Cincinnati improved an okay secondary this offseason by drafting Dre Kirkpatrick and signing Terence Newman. Leon Hall is a shutdown corner but the issue is the safety slots. Taylor Mays should start at strong safety and the electric Reggie Nelson at free. But neither have coverage skills.

The 1-8 stat shows that the Bengals weren't and probably won't be Super Bowl contenders. Though if they can get through Pittsburgh and Baltimore with a win or two they have a chance at making some noise.

4. Cleveland Browns 2011 Record: 4-12 Roster
Hope filled the air of Cleveland at the beginning of last season. It appeared the Browns had finally found their quarterback in Colt McCoy, had a rising star in Peyton Hillis and had a dangerous defense. But that didn't turn out too good. McCoy played decent but wasn't good enough. Hillis struggled all season rushing for just 587 yards. And the defense was strong it couldn't seem to force turnovers or stop the run. Something needed to change for a team that had won 18 games since 2008. And things did on Draft Night. The Browns selected Trent Richardson the bruising runner from Alabama then selected a quarterback in Brandon Weeden later on. The new combo will start right away but wins won't come right away.

Offense: Once considered a contest the quarterback job appears to be the 28 year old Weeden's. Weeden has a huge arm and has the maturity to be a starter right away and have success. He'll replace McCoy who had 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last year. McCoy may still be this teams franchise quarterback as Weeden is older. The run game died last year as Hillis was the teams top rusher. With Richardson now running wild this whole offense will open up. Richardson has fantastic speed but sometimes he doesn't need to use it as he can bowl people over. The line should help him as it is headed by one of the tackles in the game in Joe Thomas. Over the years the Browns have made a lot of mistakes on Draft Night. Thomas is not one of them. Also on the line is Alex Mack and rookie Mitchell Schwartz. None of Weeden's targets are Pro Bowlers but Greg Little may soon be. Little had 61 receptions for 709 yards. Little doesn't have burning speed but has some and has good size. Josh Cribbs was one of the Browns leading receivers even though he does most of his damage on special teams. Cribbs is explosive when in the open field and can get seperation. Expect a solid season from vet Benjamin Watson.

Defense: The line is pretty bad for these Browns. Jabaal Sheard is an average starter at best and tackle Phil Taylor is still learning the ropes. Ahtyba Rubin can be dangerous as a tackler and pass rusher. He recorded 83 tackles as a linemen in '11. The Browns have a shining star on defense in D'Qwell Jackson who had 158 tackles last year. Jackson has the smarts and vision to stop plays and he needs to continue that because this run defense was 30th in the league last season. Rookies James-Michael Johnson and Emmanuel Acho could usurp starters Scott Fujita and Chris Gocong. The secondary has the talent to be strong. Expect big things from corner Joe Haden and safety T.J. Ward. Sheldon Brown may have to shift around but he'll make plays anywhere.

This team looks like it is going in the right direction but in this division with their youth they'll struggle. Don't expect a Bengal-like season. Instead, expect another 4-5 season for Cleveland.

MLB Chatter: Trout for MVP, Strasburg Limit, Bobby V

Name your AL MVP candidates coming into this season: Miguel Cabrera, Albert Pujols or maybe a little Josh Hamilton? Probably not Angels outfielder Mike Trout. Trout, who turned 21 yesterday, is hitting .346 (top in the AL), has 60 runs batted in and has nailed 20 home runs. Not mentioning at all his amazing ability to field. So, forget AL Rookie of the Year, something he has basically locked down, let's start talking AL MVP. Hey, Justin Verlander won it last year as a pitcher, a rarity. It will be tough to beat Miguel Cabrera but Los Angeles is the market to do it. He has been the most impressive player on a championship contender if they can manage a Wild Card spot in a tough race. So, Trout for MVP? Well, yes.

Many things can derail a team from winning a title. Injury, player struggles and maybe road games. But, for the Nationals the thing that could pull them away from a championship may be worry. Stephen Strasburg, the team's ace, who is 12-5 this season with a 2.97 ERA will likely be shutdown at around the 150-160 innings pitched mark. The Nationals want to be careful with their future star who already has had health issues in his short career. This move would mean the likely playoffs rotation (if they get there) would consist of Ross Detwiler, Gio Gonzalez, Edwin Jackson and Jordan Zimmerman. Detwiler would replace Strasburg as the top pitcher and despite his 6-4 mark and a 2.99 ERA many people think it will be a significant drop off. GM Mike Rizzo has already said he will shut down Strasburg when he thinks it is right. It will be a tough decision one that could mean the difference between a World Series and a disappointing playoff exit.

Before you start saying how ridiculous it is for a team to fire their manager after just one season, a .500 season let me tell you what city this manager is in: Boston. That should explain it. Bobby Valentine made headlines when he stepped in for Terry Francona by his cockiness. He might talk the talk but unless something changes in a big way he hasn't been able to walk the walk. The traditional power Red Sox are currently 55-56 and 9 games out of first place in the AL East. Frustration is everywhere on this team and they should be as they have the talent to be right along with the Yankees in this divsion. So would it be so ridicolous if the Sox fired Bobby V after just one, disastrous season? Maybe, but hey, I'm not from Boston. In the end its not the organization's decision. In this city, the fans decide who stays or who goes.

College Football Preview: Best of the Rest: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

31. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Returning Starters: 15 Returning Star: QB Tevin Washington Key Loss: WR Stephen Hill Player to Watch: LB Jabari Hunt-Days Paul Johnson enters his fifth year as coach of the Yellow Jackets and still ACC coaches can't stop his triple-option attack. That attack led these Jackets to the second best rushing numbers nationally, a number that should keep that way with the return of quarterback Tevin Washington and a trio of backs. Washington played strong in his junior year and is experienced enough to be a dark horse Heisman contender. The other returners in the backfield include senior Orwin Smith, junior David Sims and sophomore Charles Perkins. Smith reminds many of former great Jonathan Dwyer as he runs hard and has decent speed. David Sims was inconsistent last year and didn't quite fill Anthony Allen's role. Depth is no issue for these Yellow Jackets as Paul Johnson seems to think he needs about 10 backs. The biggest issue for Georgia Tech over the past few seasons has been the passing game. Last season only 12 teams had a worse passing game than Georgia Tech. That shouldn't improve too much with the loss of Stephen Hill and Tyler Melton. Replacing Hill and Melton will be Jeremy Moore and Chris Jackson. Both are fast and pretty good blockers but don't expect either of them to be All-ACC wide outs. The offensive line could end up being the best in the ACC with the return of four starters including guard Omoregie Uzzi, an All-ACC product. Also back are tackles Ray Beno and Tyler Kidney and center Jay Finch. The defense should end up being much improved from a pretty good unit last season. On the line, only end Izaan Cross returns. Cross has speed on the side and has the size to get off blockers. Expect big things from senior tackle T.J. Barnes who will clog up the middle. These linebackers are dangerous with the returns of Jeremiah Attaochu and Quayshawn Nealy not to mention the appearance of Jabari Hunt-Days. Attaochu has speed and is a sure tackler and 2011 top recruit Hunt-Days is disruptive. In the secondary the Yellow Jackets have talent headlined by cornerback Louis Young and safety Isaiah Johnson. The special teams is okay with kicker Justin Moore returning for his junior season.
