SEC Championship Game

Here it is again, the huge matchup between Alabama and Florida. It's obvious the winner of this one will go on to the BCS Championship. Florida needs Tim Tebow to be consistent well 'Bama needs a great game out of Heisman hopeful Mark Ingram. My Prediction: Florida, 31 Alabama, 24.

T. Tebow, FU, 121 pass yards, 58 rushing yards
G. McElroy, Bama, 172 pass yards(right)
R. Cooper, FU, 6 receptions, 85 yards
M. Ingram, Bama, 126 rushing yards, 2 TD'S

Last night, in an interesting Thanksgiving game, No. 10 Butler was downed by the No. 16 Minnesota, 82-73. Both hadn't played a challenging game, this week though, it was their first real challenge

Kentucky Survives(Again), Maryland Falls(Again)

In college basketball yesterday the high expectation Kentucky Wildcats survived another close call against Pac 10 cellar possible Stanford 73-65. The 'Cats, ranked fifth in the nation were down when John Wall created a play to tie it up and send it to overtime where the Wildcats outscored Stanford 10-2.

No. 22 ranked Maryland were trying to recover from a loss to Cincinnati with an impressive win over Wisconsin. That didn't happen. Maryland lost it's second straight to an unranked team.

BCS:Is Anyone of the Undefeateds Going Down

This week, a few undefeated will be tested. Some notable games are: Florida takes on Florida State, Texas plays Texas A&M and in an interesting matchup Boise State attacks Nevada. This one has the possibility to go down as an upset. Nevada's rushing game is one of the most explosive well Boise State lacks explosiveness for someone other than Kellen Moore.

Pac 10 War, Big Big Ten Rivalry

In college football this week, the on fire No. 17 Stanford play No. 25 Cal with a chance to the Pac 10 title on. The race is interesting, Oregon leading well USC, Stanford and Cal are right behind. In this matchup, I like Stanford. Toby Gerhart and Stanford's talented offense will take down Cal's now weak offense.

Meanwhile, in the Big Ten a huge rivalry takes place when Ohio State takes on the down Michigan Wolverines. The Buckeyes are coming off a win over Iowa, Michigan needs a win to might keep Rich Rodriguez's job. I like Ohio State but expect Michigan to come out and play hard.

Two Great Games

The college basketball season is officially under way with two great games when No. 12 Cal plays No. 24 Syracuse and No. 4 UNC takes on No. 15 Ohio State. Cal is a team with high expectations well, Syracuse trys to recover from lost talent. In the Ohio State-UNC matchup, the former champs try to take down another strong Big Ten team.

College Football Week Ahead

This week will definitely be interesting in collge football. With the season winding down teams will try to make final impressions. No. 4 TCU trys to make a BCS impression with a win over No. 16 Utah, No. 10 Iowa trys to recover from their loss to Northwestern with a win over No. 11 Ohio State. Of course then people will be talking about Iowa in the BCS race. This week will be big for not just the BSC hopefuls it may make people scream even more for a playoff.

Some Of Your Questions Answered

Here's some of your burning questions answered here. If you have any questions not answered, please comment and I'll try to respond.

Q:Is Iowa for real?
A:No. The Hawkeyes are coming of close calls against a decent Michigan State squad and a horrible Indiana team. Sooner or later, their luck will catch up to them.

Q:Who's the main BCS buster?
A:This one is tough because every top ten team seems to be in the BCS championship race. My obvious ones are TCU, Cincinnati and Oregon. But I also like Pitt coming out of the Big East. They have an explosive back in Dion Lewis and a good QB in Bill Stull.

Q:Heisman Trophy Winner?
A:Obviously th big names, Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy are in there. Last year's winner Sam Bradford is out so who will take his spot? Running back Dion Lewis and Mark Ingram are underrated. Jeremiah Masoli has moved into occasional talk but his chances are very, very slim. I like McCoy but it will come down to the BCS championship talk.

Week 9 Report

No. 10 Oregon, 47 No. 5 USC, 20
Even the peolpe who picked Oregon to win would never have thought it would be this type of a blowout. The Ducks have slammed Pac 10 opponents to the ground with wins over Cal by 39, and of course this one by 27. In my mind Oregon just won the Pac 10 with this impressive win.

No. 1 Florida, 41 Georgia, 17
After a split record the past two years the Gators routed Georgia, which really wasn't a huge surprise. Tim Tebow got back in his grove with a win, bad news for Alabama fans. That SEC Championship game isn't that far away.

Auburn, 33 No. 25 Ole Miss, 20
When everybody thought Ole Miss was getting back in the groove to meet the high expectations put on them, we were wrong. Aubrun, desperate to get back into SEC contention really need this win.
