3 College Star QB's Left Undrafted

When the NFL draft finally finished 3 star QB's in college were left undrafted. Grahm Harrell, Texas Tech,Chase Daniel, Missouri and underrated John Parker Wilson from Alabama. Even Quan Cosby from Texas(WR) didn't get drafted. Daniel wasn't a surprise he was too small to be a NFL QB. I thought Harrell might get picked in the seventh round but he was left for any team to grab him now in free agents. The good news: Daniel might sign with the Redskins and Harrell is getting offers, too.

A Surprise Pick

In the 2009 NFL draft the Kansas City Chiefs selected former LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson was selected third overall in an obvious surprise. Many suspected that the Chiefs might pick Jackson but some thought Aaron Curry would be the right pick. I predicted Michael Crabtree. Matthew Stafford and Jason Smith were the first two picks.

Stafford Signs Deal With Lions

Today Matthew Stafford agreed to a deal with the Detroit Lions with about 42 million through six years. After many (including me) predicted Stafford to be the first pick in the draft he was just like last year's Jake Long.

2010 College Football Preview:Heisman Trophy

The quest for the Heisman Trophy will be interesting in 2010. I predict Tim Tebow, despite the odds against winning a second Heisman Trophy. It will be easier for Tebow with Michael Crabtree, Grahm Harrell and Mark Sanchez gone but Sam Bradford, the former Heisman Trophy winner, will compete against Tim Tebow. Tebow is too good though, with his running ability and he can pass also. Tebow will improve his Gator resume, if that is possible.

UNC Is our National Champ

On April 6th the UNC Tar Heels beat the Big Ten powerhouse Michigan State Spartans to earn themselves another national championship. After a disappointing run last year (a blowout Final Four loss to the champs Kansas Jayhawks) the 'Heels were happy to show they were definitely one of the most elite franchises ever. And now they are.

What Happens Next Conclusion

In the ACC any team can win it all. But with UNC losing some key players we need to know who will win the regular season ACC championship. I predict the Duke Blue Devils. They will be led by last season's stars and they are getting star recruit Mason Plumlee. Looking to 2011 they will be getting Stephon Curry's brother Seth Curry who transferred from Liberty. Curry averaged 20 points a game in Liberty. Meanwhile, Florida State will do well if Toney Douglas excells like last season as he was the second leading scorer in the ACC behind Tyler Hansbrough.

What Happens Next?

After UNC wins the national championship (in my mind) they will lose their two best players in PG Ty Lawson and all star Tyler Hansbrough. After this championship game UNC must get recruits from Roy Williams, head coach. Ohhh no. . .

Check out my next post on the ACC.

The NCAA Championship:Michigan State vs. UNC

We now know the NCAA championship is the UNC Tar Heels (1 seed) vs. Michigan State(2 seed). The Tar Heels beat the Villanova Wildcats in Final Four action as Villanova suffered a disappointing loss to the Tar Heels. Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket, the Michigan State Spartans beat the 1 seed UConn in a close game. Raymar Morgan excelled again as he has been doing this whole season and tournament. I predict UNC to win in another close game. But, don't underestimate the Spartans as some experts have already done this season(as I did) and as some of you did.
