The NBA draft finished last night. Blake Griffin was picked number one, which was no surprise followed by Hasheem Thabeet. Then with the third pick in the draft, Oklahoma City passed up Spain star Ricky Rubio and went with Arizona State star James Harden. Then, the Kings passed up Rubio, too and went with Tyrke Evans, formerly of Memphis. Then the Timberwolves finally snatched Rubio and following that up, Johny Flynn of Syracuse. The T-Wolves had six picks in the draft and got UNC's Ty Lawson, who was later traded to Denver. Next came antoher UNC player Wayne Ellington, the fourth guard picked by Minnesota. In the second round the T-Wolves grabbed Nick Calathes and Henk Norel, who played with Ricky Rubio. Tyler Hansbrough, one of the best collge basketball player ever was picked by the Indiana Pacers at 13. It was a great draft.

SE: USA Defeats Spain in Confederation Cup Semifinals
The USA played the undefeated Spain in the semifinals of the Confederation Cup as they advance to the final. They will either play South Africa or Brazil. In the semifinal, USA shutout one of the best teams in the world in Spain and will probably face another great team in Brazil. Anyways, this will give USA confidence for the World Cup.

NBA Draft: What Will Happen?
This year's draft brings a whole new trio of stars to the NBA. Among them include Blake Griffin, an obvious lock at number one, Hasheem Thabeet, the huge center from Connecticut and Ricky Rubio, the star all the way from Europe. I believe that they will be drafted in that order. Also, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Mike Miller and Randy Foye to get the fifith pick in the draft. They also added Etan Thomas.
Rubio of Spain will probably be picked third.
