3 College Star QB's Left Undrafted

When the NFL draft finally finished 3 star QB's in college were left undrafted. Grahm Harrell, Texas Tech,Chase Daniel, Missouri and underrated John Parker Wilson from Alabama. Even Quan Cosby from Texas(WR) didn't get drafted. Daniel wasn't a surprise he was too small to be a NFL QB. I thought Harrell might get picked in the seventh round but he was left for any team to grab him now in free agents. The good news: Daniel might sign with the Redskins and Harrell is getting offers, too.

A Surprise Pick

In the 2009 NFL draft the Kansas City Chiefs selected former LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson was selected third overall in an obvious surprise. Many suspected that the Chiefs might pick Jackson but some thought Aaron Curry would be the right pick. I predicted Michael Crabtree. Matthew Stafford and Jason Smith were the first two picks.

Stafford Signs Deal With Lions

Today Matthew Stafford agreed to a deal with the Detroit Lions with about 42 million through six years. After many (including me) predicted Stafford to be the first pick in the draft he was just like last year's Jake Long.

More Draft

The draft keeps getting closer and I've already posted my Top 11 mock draft. Well I've watched ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and his mock draft's don't include Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry in the Top 5 or Kansas State quarterback Josh Freemen. I know Freemen is probably overrated in my mock draft but Curry was probably the best D player in the nation. Or at least the best linebacker in the nation. Some of you might be wondering who the Minnesota Vikings will get, well I predict them to get to get Ray Maualaga the skilled linebacker out of USC. The Viks fell short on linebackers so they would enjoy grabbing Maualaga.

Time To Draft!

Time to get serious about the NFL draft. This is a HUGE post all about the draft.
Well in one of my earlier posts Draft Storylines I gave you my number one pick(Matthew Stafford) so now we have to talk about after that. Andre Smith will go to the Rams simply because a good o-line will help the Rams weak pass game. Many experts like Josh Freemen at about 20th or so but I like Freemen in the Top 10. Why? Freemen is a big QB that's not afraid to be hit which I like. Others that might move up are: Percy Harvin(even if he's injury prone) and Knowshawn Moreno. Mark Sanchez will impress scouts also. Well at least he has alredy impressed me. But betraying Pete Carrol hurt his status with scouts. Anyways enough about offense let's talk D. I like another USC player on D. Who? Linebacker Brian Cushing. He's a big hitter and I love big hitters. Well that's a post, but don't worry I'll write alot more about the draft.

Draft Storylines

Questions for the draft:

Q: Why should Mark Sanchez leave USC?
A: Matt Leinart stayed at USC after winning the Heisman. He dropped from a possible 1 to about 11th. He'll advise Sanchez t leave. And Sanchez will listen.

Q: Who is your number one draft pick?
A: Josh Freemen is tempting at that spot. But Matthew Statfford is my number one.

Q: If Tim Tebow left Florida which round would he go in?
A: Probably 3rd round. Why? Tebow loves running. Tebow you're a quarterback! He needs to improve his passing skills.

Q: How come nobody is talking about Andre Smith anymore?
A: Smith got suspended in the days leading up to the Sugar Bowl which hurt his status in the draft but people should be talking about Smith as a possible number one
