NFL Mock Draft Edition 5 (Final Edition)

1. Houston Texans Jadeveon Clowney, DE Other Possibility: QB Blake Bortles

Defensive end isn't a huge need for the Texans, quarterback might be a more pressing issue. But, not selecting Clowney here could be suicide with his potential and instant playmaking ability, and Teddy Bridgewater or Derek Carr might be available for a QB selection in the second round.
2. St. Louis Rams Greg Robinson, OT Other Possibility: WR Sammy Watkins
The Rams might trade down this pick to a team that wants Blake Bortles or Sammy Watkins, but if they use this, Greg Robinson is the right pick. Robinson's health is the only concern, although Jake Matthews may have the instant starting ability, Robinson has the higher ceiling and will be a better pick in a few years.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars Khalil Mack, DE/LB Other Possibility: WR Sammy Watkins
Defense has been a major concern for the Jaguars (offense isn't much better) and if Clowney is indeed taken earlier, Mack should be Jacksonville's selection. Mack has excellent athleticism and getting a true pass rusher will be very important for head coach Gus Bradley and the Jags.
4. Cleveland Browns Johnny Manziel, QB Other Possibility: QB Derek Carr
The Browns would be crazy to not draft a quarterback here and they have loads of options. Bortles, Bridgewater, Derek Carr or Manziel could all be options. Manziel might be the riskiest pick in the draft, but Cleveland should take the risk here.
5. Oakland Raiders Sammy Watkins, WR Other Possibility: QB Blake Bortles
If the Raiders actually believe Matt Schaub can resurrect his career in Oakland, they need to add another potent receiver. Watkins has the explosiveness to change games and Watkins has the first step to beat most NFL defensive backs.
6. Atlanta Falcons Jake Matthews, OT Other Possibility: LB Anthony Barr
The Falcons could be one of a number of teams in this area looking to trade up for a chance at Clowney or Mack. They could still get major value at the No.6 pick and could pick up Matthews, who should go along way in protecting Matt Ryan, who they just invested a ton of money into this offseason.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaners Mike Evans, WR Other Possibility: QB Blake Bortles
Mike Evans
An improved passing game is the number one priority for the Bucs and they will have to debate between a QB of the future in Bortles or a fantastic receiver in Mike Evans. Evans has superb size and could give new QB Josh McCown something to work with.
8. Minnesota Vikings Blake Bortles, QB Other Possibility: QB Derek Carr
If Bortles doesn't go to Tampa at 7 or earlier, the Vikings shouldn't waste anytime in picking up the UCF stud. He oozes with potential and Norv Turner could help further develop him in Minnesota.
9. Buffalo Bills Taylor Lewan, OT Other Possibility: TE Eric Ebron
Lewan has the NFL frame and potential to be quite the star and Buffalo definitely needs to address their glaring need at tackle. Off-the-field issues could be a concern for Lewan but if Matthews and Robinson are off the board, this is where Buffalo should go.
10. Detroit Lions Justin Gilbert, CB Other Possibility: LB Anthony Barr
Although Detroit may feel that their young cornerbacks are fine for now, they need Gilbert in the future. Even if he doesn't start at corner right away, Gilbert could add something on special teams, he is a very dangerous returner.
11. Tennessee Titans Anthony Barr, LB Other Possibility: DL Aaron Donald
Tennessee needs help all around their defense, but a dominant pass rusher may be the paramount concern. A number of great pass rushers could be available but Barr should be the best option, he has the speed off the edge and strength to become a great player in this league for years to come.
12. New York Giants Aaron Donald, DL Other Possibility: TE Eric Ebron
Linval Joseph signed with the Vikings, leaving a pretty big hole at the defensive tackle slot. Donald, a dominant pass rusher from Pittsburgh, may be a little bit small for DT but he has the versatility to also make plays as an end.
13. St. Louis Rams HaHa Clinton-Dix, S Other Possibility: WR Odell Beckham
If the Rams don't draft Watkins with the second pick, Beckham could well be an option as he is the best receiver to help bolster a pretty weak Rams' offense. But, the secondary is more of a concern and Clinton-Dix has the talent to have a great career in St. Louis.
14. Chicago Bears Calvin Pryor, S Other Possibility: LB C.J. Mosley
If Clinton-Dix does indeed go to the Rams at 13 or higher, it puts the Bears in an interesting position. They really need a safety with Major Wright likely gone, but a leader on defense like Mosley could also help. Pryor has been really rising up most boards and he has great size.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Darqueze Dennard, CB Other Possibility: WR Odell Beckham
An aging secondary is a major concern for the Steelers, whose whole defense is starting to be an issue. Dennard has the physicality to fit Pittsburgh's style and Pittsburgh addressed their receiving issues by picking up Darius Heyward-Bey and others.
16. Dallas Cowboys Timmy Jernigan, DT Other Possibility: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT
Jernigan is a risky pick this high, he has a huge frame and a high ceiling but he struggled to make an impact at big times for Florida State last year. Jerry Jones may go with a flashier pick here, but Jernigan or Hagemen is the smart pick.
17. Baltimore Ravens Odell Beckham, WR Other Possibility: Jimmie Ward, S
Even with Steve Smith now on board in Baltimore, he is aging and a young receiving talent will help Flacco for years to come. Beckham was a dangerous game-changer throughout his time with LSU and he has very reliable hands.
18. New York Jets Eric Ebron, TE Other Possibility: CB Kyle Fuller
The Jets should continue to improve their offense by selecting Ebron, who could well be a steal here at 18. Ebron has the speed of a receiver and will give Geno Smith/Michael Vick a real threat to work with.
19. Miami Dolphins Zack Martin, OT/OG Other Possibility: OT Cyrus Kouandjio, OT
Offensive line is definitely where the Dolphins should be looking with this pick. The decision will be between Kouandjio, who has the potential to develop into a star tackle or Martin, an athletic linemen who can play both guard and tackle.
20. Arizona Cardinals Derek Carr, QB Other Possibility: Kony Ealy, DE
It is clear that Carson Palmer's time in the desert isn't going to last much longer. Carr will be the best available quarterback and his huge arm could really help the homerun ability that Larry Fitzgerald will bring to the table.
21. Green Bay Packers C.J. Mosley, LB Other Possibility: TE Eric Ebron
An effective young linebacker is looking like a real need for Green Bay, and Mosley could give them that. The Alabama star has incredible instincts and a brain for the game, he could easily become a playmaker.
22. Philadelphia Eagles Brandin Cooks, WR Other Possibility: WR Marqise Lee
With DeSean Jackson off to NFC East rival Washington, wide receiver becomes a major need for Philadelphia. They have a multitude of options here, including Cooks, Lee and Indiana product Cody Latimer. Cooks, the Biletnikoff winner, has game-change speed and playmaking ability, he will fit right in with Philly.
23. Kansas City Chiefs Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG Other Possibility: WR Marqise Lee
It could definitely be an option for Kansas City to trade down this selection, as all their needs could be addressed later on in the draft. Right guard is a important concern and Su'a-Filo, easily the best guard in this draft, could fill it.
24. Cincinnati Bengals Jason Verrett, CB Other Possibility: CB Bradley Roby
The Bengals' secondary is their biggest question, it is aging and it is not deep at all. Verrett was a stud at TCU throughout his time there and he could turn into quite the star; he will immediately give the secondary a huge upgrade.
25. San Diego Chargers Louis Nix, DT Other Possibility: CB Bradley Roby
Nix is massive and even if Hageman is still on the board, the Chargers should pick him up. Run defense has definitely been a concern the past couple years for San Diego and they hope to continue to address it by picking up Nix.
26. Cleveland Browns Kyle Fuller, CB Other Possibility: WR Kelvin Benjamin
The Browns real star is cornerback Joe Haden, but beyond him the position is definitely an issue. Fuller has some minor concerns but the Browns should take a chance at him, even over Benjamin or another receiver that can help Manziel.
27. New Orleans Saints Dee Ford, DE Other Possibility: WR Marqise Lee
Even though it made huge strides last year, the Saints' defense is still pretty weak. They need another strong pass rusher, and Auburn star Dee Ford could help a lot. He has superb athleticism and he should fit right in with New Orleans.
28. Carolina Panthers Marqise Lee, WR Other Possibility: OT Morgan Moses
The offensive line may be enough of a problem for the Panthers to guy with Moses or another linemen here but their receivers are just so bad right now, Jericho Cotchery is their number one guy. Although inconsistent, Marqise Lee's electric game-breaking ability should really help Cam Newton.
29. New England Patriots Ra'Shede Hagmen, DT Other Possibility: DE Kony Ealy
At times, Hagemen is dominant and looks like a sure-fire first-rounder. Other times, he struggles to be any type of factor. New England needs pass rushers and Hagemen should give them that, even with his consistency issues.
30. San Francisco Niners Bradley Roby, CB Other Possibility: DT Stephon Tuitt
San Francisco could seek an impact receiver to help out Colin Kaepernick but a cornerback is needed. Roby was fantastic with Ohio State while facing some big receivers in the Big Ten, and should develop nicely under Jim Harbaugh.
31. Denver Broncos Joel Bitonio, OG Other Possibility: LB Kyle Van Noy
Denver may look to add another impact linebacker like Van Noy, but help on the offensive line should be a priority. Bitonio has been rising up draft boards and he could easily help the defending AFC Champs. Scouts love what he did this past year, especially having a great game against eventual champion Florida State.
32. Seattle Seahawks Cody Latimer, WR Other Possibility: TE Jace Amaro
If there is one thing that the Seahawks will really want to address, it could be adding another receiving option. Golden Tate is now gone, and Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin constantly are injured. Latimer has speed to stretch defenses and open up room for Marshawn Lynch and give Russell Wilson a playmaker for years to come.

NFL Mock Draft Edition 4 (Combine Edition)

1. Houston Texans Blake Bortles, QB Other Possibilitiy: DE Jadeveon Clowney
Blake Bortles
Rumors are swirling the Texans like Bortles here and it does make a lot of sense. Bortles has more potential than Bridgewater but is still more durable than Manziel and is a pro-style quarterback something Bill O'Brien needs.
2. St. Louis Rams Greg Robinson, OT Other Possibility: OT Jake Matthews
The Rams have an interesting situation here with the second pick. They should go offensive line, especially tackle (and Robinson is the best available) but they also need some more playmakers to surround Sam Bradford with like Sammy Watkins.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars Jadeveon Clowney, DE Other Possibility: QB Teddy Bridgewater
Clowney made waves earlier today when he ran an impressive 4.53 40, faster than most quarterbacks. Jacksonville should pick up the best option here and look for Derek Carr to fall to the second round or pick up another solid QB.
4. Cleveland Browns Johnny Manziel, QB Other Possibility: QB Teddy Bridgewater
Manziel didn't throw today at the combine and his statistics were solid enough to keep him here at No.4. Manziel still remains a player that can extend plays in magical ways and could bring fans to the seats in Cleveland, something they haven't had in a long time.
5. Oakland Raiders Sammy Watkins, WR Other Possibility: QB Teddy Bridgewater
The issues remain very much the same at Oakland where they have lacked a proven quarterback or receiver for years. Bridgewater could definitely be an option if he falls here but Watkins would give the offense the explosiveness they desperately need.
6. Atlanta Falcons Jake Matthews, OT Other Possibility: LB Khalil Mack
Injuries were the thing that helped kill the Falcons' season last year but the talent is there if they can stay healthy. Picking up Matthews will be critical as he would help Matt Ryan from getting injured, their recently signed franchise QB.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaners Khalil Mack, LB Other Possibility: LB Anthony Barr
Mike Mayock supported Mack in a big way saying he would select Mack if he were in the Texans' shoes. He does have that top-flight potential, he can impact ways as a pass-rushing linebacker and has the range and instincts of an NFL stud.
8. Minnesota Vikings Teddy Bridgewater, QB Other Possibility: CB Darqueze Dennard
Although he didn't throw or run at the combine Bridgewater is still a for-sure Top 10 pick. He may fall here to Minnesota but the Vikings desperately need a quarterback who can be a leader for a very young offense.
9. Buffalo Bills C.J. Mosley, LB Other Possibility: OT Taylor Lewan
With Mack off the board the Bills could look offensive line here, especially if Matthews or Robinson drops, but they should continue to improve a defense that has taken major steps the last couple of years. Mosley isn't the pass rusher Mack is but it is a leader who is a sure tackler.
10. Detroit Lions Darqueze Dennard, CB Other Possibility: WR Mike Evans
Other than Ndamukong Suh the Lions' defense is pretty average and they need a secondary that can stop Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers, along with the other elite quarterbacks in the NFC. Dennard is by far and away the best cornerback in the draft and a quick fix in the back.
11. Tennessee Titans Anthony Barr, LB Other Possibility: OT Taylor Lewan
When he is on his game Barr can take over games with his pass rushing ability, picking up sacks or just making the quarterback uncomfortable in the pocket. He still has to develop in other ways but Tennessee needs someone imposing like him on their defense.
12. New York Giants Timmy Jernigan, DT Other Possibility: CB Justin Gilbert
Could Jernigan be a stretch here for the Giants? Yes, but the Giants' defense has been lacking for years in run stoppers and Jernigan is just that. He has the strength and smarts to take over games at the next level.
13. St. Louis Rams Justin Gilbert, CB Other Possibility: WR Mike Evans
The Rams defense has some good pieces but their secondary was pretty inconsistent through much of last year and they have to deal with the great quarterbacks of the NFC West. Gilbert has excellent awareness and leaping ability and could make an impact in special teams as well.
14. Chicago Bears Aaron Donald, DL Other Possibility: S HaHa Clinton-Dix
Out of all the pass rushers in this draft it could be Donald with the most upside after the year he had at Pitt in 2013. Donald has the versatility to play a number of roles and could improve greatly if he gets stronger and quicker on the snap he can be dominant.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Louis Nix, DT Other Possibility: DE Kony Ealy
Nix just fits the mold of a Pittsburgh Steeler defensive linemen. Nix is huge, at 6-2, 330 pounds and has the power to disrupt backfields constantly. He still has to improve in run support but the tools are there.
16. Dallas Cowboys Calvin Pryor, S Other Possibility: DE Kony Ealy
Although the run defense needs work as well the Cowboys' pass defense was porous throughout much of the 2013 season. Pryor has great size for a safety and has a great ball hawking mentality, he could shoot up boards.
17. Baltimore Ravens Mike Evans, WR Other Possibility: OT Taylor Lewan
Evans could shoot up boards as well and the Ravens need another playmaker for Joe Flacoo to work with, especially with Ray Rice's future now uncertain. Evans notched in with a strong 37" vertical and 4.53 40, impressive numbers.
18. New York Jets Eric Ebron, TE Other Possibility: WR Marqise Lee
Even tight ends can change games and Ebron did constantly while at UNC and should bring a lot of help to a New York offense that really needs it. He has great hands for a tight end and receiver's speed and route running ability.
19. Miami Dolphins Zack Martin, OT Other Possibility: OT Cyrus Kouandjio
It wasn't just the Jonathan Martin-Richie Incognito scandal that was terrible for Miami's offensive line, they allowed 58 sacks last year. Martin is a durable tackle who could anchor the line right away.
20. Arizona Cardinals Taylor Lewan, OT Other Possibility: DT Ra'Shede Hagemen
It is no secret why NFL scouts love Lewan; he has eye-popping size. At 6'7" and 310 pounds he could start from the beginning and he could be a steal here for the Cardinals.
21. Green Bay Packers Ra'Shede Hagemen, DT Other Possibility: HaHa Clinton-Dix
The Packers rush defense took a step back last year and passing on Hagemen here would be foolish. Hagemen has great size and athleticism and is from the area, playing at Minnesota.
22. Philadelphia Eagles HaHa Clinton-Dix, S Other Possibility: DE Kony Ealy
Clinton-Dix showed real potential while playing at Alabama and should give the Eagles immediate secondary help. He has great coverage skills and has proven he has great range.
23. Kansas City Chiefs Jace Amaro, TE Other Possibility: WR Odell Beckham
Maybe in a couple of years we might be calling Amaro the next Tony Gonzalez. He is a fantastic intermediate receiver who can be a security blanket for Alex Smith for years to come.
24. Cincinnati Bengals Kony Ealy, DE Other Possibility: CB Marcus Roberson
The Bengals already have a feared pass rusher in Geno Atkins but imagine their defense with Ealy who can help in run support as well and has the potential to be a star.
25. San Diego Chargers Kyle Van Noy, LB Other Possibility: CB Marcus Roberson
Van Noy proved constantly he was a defensive playmaker for BYU and could be the second straight highly-touted Cougar pass rusher (Ezekiel Ansah last year). He also has developed coverage abilities.
26. Cleveland Browns Cyrus Kouandjio, OT Other Possibility: WR Kelvin Benjamin
If the Browns are banking on Manziel being their franchise QB they are going to need him to stay healthy. Kouandjio had the upside to be a great tackle for years to come.
27. New Orleans Saints Dee Ford, DE Other Possibility: WR Kelvin Benjamin
Rob Ryan greatly improve the Saints defense last year but they still lack one obvious thing: an elite young pass rusher, something Auburn product Dee Ford could provide them with. Ford has an excellent motor and has NFL size.
28. Carolina Panthers Marcus Roberson, CB Other Possibility: CB Jason Verrett
The Panthers may need an improvement on their offensive line or another receiving option, but their secondary is a big issue as well and passing on a talent like Roberson will be very tough. Roberson has great athleticism and the potential to grow into a shutdown corner.
29. New England Patriots Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE Other Possibility: DL Stephon Tuitt
If Amaro and Ebron, the top two tight ends, are off the board by this point it will be very difficult for the Pats not to pick up Seferian-Jenkins who would be the top available option. Seferian-Jenkins is a stud from Washington with excellent hands and is developing as a decent blocker.
30. San Francisco Niners Jason Verrett, CB Other Possibility: CB Bradley Roby
The Niners have one of the best front sevens in the NFL but their secondary lacks a star and Verrett could be a late steal. Verrett proved to be a playmaker while at TCU and has the size and strength to develop quite nicely.
31. Denver Broncos Stephon Tuitt, DL Other Possibility: CB Bradley Roby
They didn't look like it much last year but the Broncos really missed Elvis Dumervil and really lacked a pass rush. Tuitt is massive, 6'5" 305 and with the physical tools to be dominant in a couple years.
32. Seattle Seahawks David Yankey, OL Other Possibility: OG Xavier Su'a-Filo
Seattle's offense was solid throughout 2013 and into the playoffs but consistency on the line was sometimes a question. Yankey is a smart Stanford product who can play either guard or tackle and can block the run very well.

NFL Mock Draft Edition 3

1. Houston Texans Teddy Bridgewater, QB
New head coach Bill O'Brien needs a smart, young quarterback to engineer his offense and the durable Bridgewater would fit his system much better than any other top QB prospect in this draft.
2. St. Louis Rams Greg Robinson, OT
It would be extremely tempting for the Rams to look at Manziel or Bortles here but sticking with Bradford would be the smarter decision for now. He needs better protection and Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson would keep him more comfortable in the pocket, protecting his blindside.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars Jadeveon Clowney, DE
It is very clear the Jaguars have lacked much consistency or talent at quarterback for years but a fierce pass rusher would work wonders for a defense that isn't necessarily great either. Clowney would give Jacksonville the disruptive force they need.
4. Cleveland Browns Johnny Manziel, QB
Johnny Manziel
The Browns need to win and win now. Durability is a huge concern for Manziel, considering his size, and he may not last as long in the NFL as others. But, he will bring immediate excitement and energy to an offense that has some at least one piece to work with in wide receiver Josh Gordon.
5. Oakland Raiders Sammy Watkins, WR
Oakland really missed on their last first-round wide receiver draft selection (Darius Heyward-Bey). If both Bridgewater and Manziel are off the board by this pick Watkins should be their selection if they want to improve their passing game, which has been atrocious for years.
6. Atlanta Falcons Jake Matthews, OT
As much talent as Atlanta has their offensive line proved to be a major issue last season. Matthews would help prolong the career of Matt Ryan by protecting his blindside and would help a run game that was nonexistent through much of 2013.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaners Anthony Barr, LB
Lovie Smith is a known defensive coach who needs a great group of linebackers to make his defense work. Barr is one of the best pass-rushers in this year's draft and would bring a player that Smith can coach up, he is just scratching the surface of his potential.
8. Minnesota Vikings Blake Bortles, QB
Perhaps no team had as terrible and weird quarterback situation as the Vikings did last year, constantly switching between Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder and Josh Freeman. Cassell will void his contract and likely go elsewhere meaning Minnesota needs a QB in this draft. Bortles would be a steal here.
9. Buffalo Bills Khalil Mack, LB
Playing in the MAC, Mack never got the respect he deserves but is a top-flight athlete. Along with second-year 'backer Kiko Alonso the Bills would possess two young linebackers with fantastic range and instincts.
10. Detroit Lions Darqueze Dennard, CB
The 2013 Jim Thorpe Award Winner, Dennard is by far the best cornerback in this draft and should definitely top the Lions' draft board. Dennard would give Detroit a physical corner to help a team that has struggled in defending the pass for years.
11. Tennessee Titans HaHa Clinton-Dix, S
Tennessee is an odd position here at No. 11. They need a quarterback or pass rusher but the best at all those positions are off the board. Trading away this pick could be an option here but if they keep it they should pick up Alabama product HaHa Clinton-Dix to improve an average secondary.
12. New York Giants Taylor Lewan, OT
The Giants' offense was terrible in 2013 and although it was a bunch of things combined together an improved offensive line would do wonders. Lewan isn't a complete tackle yet, but he is tough and has great size and will be tough for New York to pass up on.
13. St. Louis Rams Mike Evans, WR
Now that the Rams have addressed the clear issue of their offensive line they need to continue surrounding Bradford with talent. Evans is a true talent who can change games, making big plays on jump balls and deep balls.
14. Chicago Bears Louis Nix, DT
Chicago's rush defense was an obvious concern for them throughout much of last year and Nix would help fill some rushing lanes and also brings a monster who can provide some pass rush for a defense that needs it.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Aaron Donald, DT
The once-proud Steel Curtain that is the Pittsburgh defense has grown old and needs some youth. Donald had a fantastic year for the Pittsburgh University Panthers and should give the Steelers a future pass-rusher.
16. Baltimore Ravens Kelvin Benjamin, WR
Baltimore's offense had a bunch of issues last season and Joe Flacco needs another reliable target in the passing game. Benjamin might be a little risky this high but his size and playmaking potential could make him a stud in a year or two.
17. Dallas Cowboys Kony Ealy, DL
Getting rid of Rob Ryan didn't really help the Dallas' defense; in fact they struggled even worse. The secondary was terrible last season but an improved rush defense should be the top priority. Ealy has the NFL size to dominate on the next level.
18. New York Jets Marqise Lee, WR
If the Jets really want Geno Smith to turn into a franchise quarterback they are going to need to surround him with some playmakers. Lee, who won the 2012 Biletnikoff, has the speed to change games and is lethal when healthy.
19. Miami Dolphins Cyrus Kouandjio, OT
Who knows what will happen with this Miami offensive line after the Jonathan Martin situation. Kouandjio has the potential to blossom into one of the best linemen in the NFL and do what Martin didn't; protect Ryan Tannehill.
20. Arizona Cardinals Zack Martin, OT
The Cardinals are in need of some more playmakers on the offensive end but their offensive line is an even bigger concern. Martin is a beast of a tackle that will bring an immediate impact to a line that could never protect Carson Palmer last year.
21. Green Bay Packers Justin Gilbert, CB
Green Bay's offense certainly can put up a lot points when Aaron Rodgers is healthy but their secondary still has some issues. Gilbert is a ball-hawking cornerback who also has the versatility to play some safety as well.
22. Philadelphia Eagles C.J. Mosley, LB
If Mosley drops all the way down here, it will be extremely difficult for any team not to take him. The Alabama linebacker is very smart and is tough and should bring a rangy linebacker to the Eagles' new look defense.
23. Kansas City Chiefs Eric Ebron, TE
The Chiefs definitely need some help in their passing game where Alex Smith lacked some consistent playmakers. Ebron is a very athletic tight end who can help the Chiefs stretch the field and open up rushing lanes for Jamaal Charles.
24. Cincinnati Bengals Jason Verrett, CB
Age is hurting the Bengals as Terrene Newman's career appears to be on it's last legs and Leon Hall is injury-prone. Verrett is a shutdown corner who has incredible athleticism and has proven he can be an interception machine.
25. San Diego Chargers Dee Ford, DE
Ford was a big reason why the Tigers' defense took huge steps this past season and could bring a much-needed pass rusher who has the experience and speed to help an inconsistent San Diego defense.
26. Cleveland Browns Odell Beckham, WR
Josh Gordon had a terrific 2013 season without any consistent quarterback but playmakers beyond him is a major concern. Beckham is a sure-handed option who should provide some reliable help for Manziel.
27. New Orleans Saints Ra'Shede Hagemen, DT
New Orleans' rush defense has been very exposed the past couple of years and Hagemen would really help. He has fantastic size and had a monster senior season with Minnesota and would really improve the Saints.
28. Carolina Panthers Calvin Pryor, S
NFL Defensive Player of the Year Luke Kuechly and the rest of the Carolina front seven are fantastic but the secondary was little spotty at times. Pryor is a fantastic, experienced safety who has proven he has fantastic coverage ability.
29. New England Patriots Jace Amaro, TE
The Pat's offense has always used tight ends very well but they are in a tough situation now with Aaron Hernandez gone and Rob Gronkowski always injured. Amaro is more of a receiver than a prototypical tight end who can find space anywhere on the field.
30. San Francisco Niners Timmy Jernigan, DT
Jernigan has the beast in the middle of Florida State's dominant defense and could play much the same role with the Niners. He could be extremely productive with Aldon Smith opening up lanes by occupying linemen on the edge.
31. Denver Broncos Kyle Van Noy, LB
Denver's offense was the big reason why they ran all the way to the Super Bowl but their defense wasn't very reliable last year after Von Miller's injury. Van Noy is a beast of a pass rusher who can make plays all across the field.
32. Seattle Seahawks David Yankey, OG
Marshawn Lynch is fantastic all by himself but if he gets even more help from his offensive line and guards he can be amazing. Yankey was incredible throughout his entire career at Stanford and should really help out Lynch.

NFL Mock Draft Edition 2

1. Houston Texans Teddy Bridgewater, QB
Drafting Manziel would be absolutely silly here. Bridgewater is a much safer pick with his huge arm and durability.
2. St. Louis Rams Jake Matthews, OT
The Rams are still hoping that Sam Bradford can develop into a franchise QB and it would definitely help him to have a talented tackle like Matthews protecting him.
Blake Bortles
3. Jacksonville Jaguars Blake Bortles, QB
Bortles is shooting up draft boards, thanks to Brett Hundley and Marcus Mariota announcing they were staying in school for another year. Bortles is a dual threat who will bring some excitement to a team that desperately needs it.
4. Cleveland Browns Johnny Manziel, QB
Manziel would be the best quarterback available for a Cleveland team that definitely needs a new start at the position. It will be exciting to see what he is able to do with explosive receiver Josh Gordon.
5. Oakland Raiders Jadeveon Clowney, DE
There may be a smarter pick for Oakland here but it will be very tough for the Raiders to pass on Clowney if he drops here. It would give Oakland a dominant pass rusher they have missed for years.
6. Atlanta Falcons Cyrus Kouandjio, OT
Matt Ryan wasn't great last year but considering how much he was sacked it made sense. Kouandjio is an enforcer on the line who has the potential to be a Pro-Bowl caliber tackle.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaners Greg Robinson, OT
Tampa Bay is also hoping for a tackle to be an anchor on their offensive line. Robinson isn't a big name yet but he is a ferocious tackle with decent athleticism for his size.
8. Minnesota Vikings Derek Carr, QB
The Vikings could pick up a linebacker here and hope for a second round talent but it would be tough to pass up on Carr. The Vikings need a franchise quarterback, something they haven't had for years, and the strong-armed Carr could be that guy.
9. Buffalo Bills Anthony Barr, LB
Buffalo's defense has improved over the years and it would look awfully scary with Barr in it. The outside linebacker will quickly become a dominant pass rusher.
10. Detroit Lions Darqueze Dennard, CB
Detroit's pass offense has been fantastic over the years while their pass defense has been very weak. Dennard is a psychical shutdown corner who can greatly improve Detroit's secondary.
11. Tennessee Titans Khalil Mack, LB
Mack would give the Titans a dominant linebacker who excels in coverage and also as a pass rusher to lead the defense under new coach Ken Whisenhunt.
12. New York Giants Taylor Lewan, OT
New York's offense has really struggled lately and picking up someone to improve their offensive line would help a lot. Lewan is a Michigan talent with superb instincts and size.
13. St. Louis Rams Sammy Watkins, WR
Receiver isn't a big need for the Rams but imagine Watkins in the same offense as Tavon Austin. It would continue to help Bradford develop into a franchise quarterback with the talent around him.
14. Chicago Bears Louis Nix, DT
Chicago has always been coined a tough, psychical defense and picking up Nix would help enforce that. Nix is a hard-nosed, huge tackle which will improve the Bears' weak defense.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Kony Ealy, DL
The Steelers' scary defense is starting to age, especially on the line. Ealy is a monster of a linemen who has the athleticism to constantly disrupt opponents' backfields.
16. Baltimore Ravens Mike Evans, WR
Joe Flacco didn't have quite the year that was expected one year after his new big contract. That could be blamed on little help from the receiving core. Evans is a 6-6 athlete who will definitely help Flacco.
17. Dallas Cowboys Stephon Tuitt, DE
Dallas' defense has been terrible the past few years and they really need help on their defensive line. Tuitt is a massive end with who has great speed off the edge but also helps in run support.
18. New York Jets Eric Ebron, TE
Ebron is such a good receiving tight end he will give New York a reliable option in the passing game, something they didn't give Geno Smith this past season.
19. Miami Dolphins Zack Martin, OT
Who knows what is the future of this Miami offensive line after the hazing scandal. Martin is a solid tackle who could develop into a fantastic offensive linemen.
20. Arizona Cardinals Scott Crichton, DE/LB
Arizona needs help on their offensive line and their offense overall but their front seven is just average as well.  In order to compete with Seattle and San Francisco their defense needs to improve and the pass rushing Crichton would help a lot.
21. Green Bay Packers Ra'Shede Hageman, DT
The Packers defense was solid this past year but passing on Hagemen, who will improve their run support greatly, will be very difficult for Green Bay.
22. Philadelphia Eagles Ryan Shazier, LB
Shazier is a little bit small but he is a fantastic pass rusher and will bring some youth to a front seven, whose only really effective player last year was Trent Cole.
23. Kansas City Chiefs Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE
Alex Smith improved greatly last year but he still struggles to make the deep throws. Seferian-Jenkins is a fantastic tight end with great hands whose job will be to move the chains for the Chiefs.
24. Cincinnati Bengals Justin Gilbert, CB
Mike Zimmer is gone for Minnesota and the secondary has some question marks. Gilbert is an interception machine from Oklahoma State who can change games when healthy.
25. San Diego Chargers Kyle Van Noy, DE/LB
San Diego's defense was inconsistent through much of last season and help should arrive in Van Noy, from BYU. Van Noy is a playmaking 'backer who has great speed to the ball.
26. Cleveland Browns Allen Robinson, WR
Imagine how dangerous this Browns' offense could be with Manziel, Josh Gordon and Robinson. Gordon can stretch the field deep, which could open up plays for the sure-handed Robinson underneath.
27. New Orleans Saints C.J. Mosley, LB
New Orleans really needs another pass rusher but passing up on Mosley here will be tough. The Alabama middle linebacker is a tackling machine who will bring toughness to an improving defense.
28. Carolina Panthers Kelvin Benjamin, WR
Cam Newton is great, but imagine him with some more dangerous receiving targets. Benjamin has great size and explosiveness and could turn into Newton's favorite target when Steve Smith retires.
29. New England Patriots Jace Amaro, TE
Aaron Hernandez is gone and Rob Gronkowski is injured. Luckily for the Pats this draft is stocked with some great tight ends including the dangerous Amaro.
30. San Francisco Niners Marcus Roberson, CB
As good as San Francisco's defense is it has been exposed on deep pass plays and their secondary is inconsistent. Roberson is a shutdown corner who has the smarts to fit right in for the Niners.
31. Denver Broncos Trent Murphy, DE/LB
Denver's fantastic offense has helped overshadow some of the issues on their defense. Their rush defense is extremely inconsistent and Murphy would really help.
32. Seattle Seahawks Gabe Jackson, OG
Jackson, a Mississippi State product, has good size and should really help a decent Seattle offensive line. Imagine Russell Wilson with even more time in the pocket and Marshawn Lynch with more help from the line.

NFL Mock Draft 2014:Edition 1

1. Houston Texans Jadeveon Clowney, DE
Although it hasn't been anywhere near the season people expected from Clowney, he still is tough to pass by. The athletic end would give the Texans one scary pass rush with J.J. Watt.
2. St. Louis Rams (from Redskins) Jake Matthews, OT
This year's draft isn't as stacked with offensive linemen as last years but it has one heck of a talent in Matthews from Texas A&M. Matthews could start immediately if Roger Saffold ditches in free agency but has the athleticism to play a number of spots on the line.
3. Atlanta Falcons Anthony Barr, LB
It is clear the Falcons need a better pass rush for a defense that has been exposed a lot this year. Barr, who was been dominant off the edge this season for UCLA will immediately help.
4. Oakland Raiders Louis Nix, DT
No one would be surprised if the Raiders were to pick up Bridgewater here it wouldn't be a surprise, considering they are struggling with Matt McGloin and Terrelle Pryor. But, the defense still has gaping holes and they need an enforcer up front. Plus, a QB could be available here in the second round.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars Teddy Bridgewater, QB
It is clear that the Jags cannot go one more season with Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert at quarterback and Bridgewater will immediately bring toughness and leadership to a weak offense.
6. Minnesota Vikings Brett Hundley, QB
Hundley may not have the recognition of a Johnny Manziel but he looks like he will be a better NFL QB. He is bigger, just as athletic and a lot less of a loose cannon on Manziel off the field. He will be comfortable in the offense right away with playmakers surrounding him like Adrian Peterson and Cordarelle Patterson.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaners Cyrus Kouandjio, OT
Kouandjio could skyrocket up draft boards in the months leading up to the draft because of his impressive physique and potential. Tampa still doesn't know who their future quarterback is, but drafting someone to protect them should help.
8. Cleveland Browns Mike Evans, WR
The Browns are another team that could look at Johnny Manziel here like Tampa but they also need someone to throw to with Josh Gordon's future in Cleveland in question. Evans, Sammy Watkins or Allen Robinson could all help.
9. New York Jets Sammy Watkins, WR
The Jets really need some offensive playmakers to help surround Geno Smith and the explosive
Sammy Watkins
Sammy Watkins could fill a huge need. He could be dominant in deep throws with Smith's massive arm.
10. Pittsburgh Steelers Taylor Lewan, OT
The Michigan talent Lewan could well have been a Top 10 prospect last year and could easily by drafted as the No. 1 offensive tackle. Pittsburgh continues to search for a better offensive line to protect Ben Roethlisberger and he could get out and lead the improving running game.
11. Buffalo Bills Khalil Mack, LB
I'm super high on Khalil Mack, who is already in the area at Buffalo University. Mack showed he can perform against top level talent earlier in the year against Ohio State and will bring an added pass rush for the Bills.
12. Tennessee Titans HaHa Clinton-Dix, S
Help in the secondary is a need for the Titans, who have been very weak at times against the pass. If they want to shut down Andrew Luck in the following years they could use Clinton-Dix. Clinton-Dix brings a hard-hitting imposing defensive back, much like what the Titans had with Cortland Finnegan.
13. New York Giants C.J. Mosley, LB
Over the years the Giants have lacked a talent at linebacker and their pass defense has been suspect at times. Mosley is a great coverage linebacker who has incredible range around the field and is very disciplined.
14. St. Louis Rams Eric Ebron, TE
The Rams haven't had a great option at tight end this year and the field-stretching Ebron could be a good pick here. Ebron could continue to upgrade the talent around Sam Bradford after adding Tavon Austin last season.
15. San Diego Chargers Vic Beasley, DE
Beasley could well jump up draft boards if he can perform well against Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. Beasley is a versatile pass rusher who can play linebacker and give the Chargers their best pass rusher since Shawne Merriman.
16. Chicago Bears Kyle Van Noy, DE/LB
I have Van Noy a lot higher than other people's draft boards because I think the Bears really need him to upgrade a weak rush defense. Van Noy has the size and speed to pressure opponents at either end or 'backer and has tremendous upside.
17. Green Bay Packers Jace Amaro, TE
Tight end is a huge need for the Packers with Jeremichael Finley's future unclear. Amaro has had a monster year at Texas Tech and is just as big as a threat in the passing game as Finley. Amaro has great hands and is too fast for many linebackers.
18. Miami Dolphins Antonio Richardson, OT
The Dolphins thought they had fixed their offensive line by picking up Johnathan Martin last year but they will enter 2014 with the same issue with the questions on it after the Richie Incognito scandal this year. Richardson, a talented tackle from Tennessee will help from the start.
19. Arizona Cardinals Cam Erving, OT
For years the Cardinals' offensive line has been terrible and the lone drafting of UNC guard Jonathan Cooper won't help change that much. Florida State talent Cam Erving has the potential to be a star but falls to No. 19 because he hasn't proven himself yet.
20. Dallas Cowboys Ra'Shede Hagemen, DT
Demarcus Ware has been a monster at defensive end for the Cowboys this year but the team still needs to improve it's rush defense. Hagemen has been a big reason why the Gophers' defense has taken big steps this year.
21. Baltimore Ravens Marqise Lee, WR
Baltimore did not give Joe Flacco that much help at receiver this year to help out their new franchise QB. If they can upgrade at either tight end or wide receiver it would help a ton. The speedy, playmaking Lee could well be a dependable option for years for the Ravens.
22. Detroit Lions Davante Adams, WR
Imagine in a couple years how scary this Lions' offense could be if Calvin Johnson stays healthy, Matthew Stafford develops into a consistent quarterback and Adams turns into a stud receiver alongside Megatron. Adams is a game-changing receiver who might declare early from Fresno State.
23. Philadelphia Eagles Scott Crichton, DE/LB
Big things are coming from the Eagles' offense but the teams lacks a consistent young playmaker in their front seven. Crichton, a pass rusher from Oregon State, hasn't been great this year after a fantastic 2012 but it still a pass rushing threat.
24. Cleveland Browns (from Colts) Johnny Manziel, QB
Manziel is dropping here, further than most mock drafts, but I still have questions about him and scouts do too. He may not fit in right away with Cleveland but the explosiveness he will bring to their offense is not a question although Blake Bortles may be a safer pick here.
25. Cincinnati Bengals Darqueze Dennard, CB
The Bengals have Leon Hall at one cornerback slot, but he has struggled with a torn Achilles. The selection of shutdown corner Darqueze Dennard from Michigan State could help improve a secondary that needs more youth.
26. Carolina Panthers James Hurst, OT
The future of the Panthers' offensive line could be in real question this offseason with Jordan Gross possibly retiring. Anyway you look at it Hurst could help Cam Newton out now and in the future.
27. San Francisco Niners Ifo Ekpre-Olumu, CB
As good as the Niners' defense has been in the Jim Harbaugh era the secondary has been a question mark. Ekpre-Olumu is a super athletic cornerback who could make an impact right away in San Francisco's defense.
28. New England Patriots Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE
It is clear that the strength of this Patriot offense has become an issue. The tight end position is a question with Aaron Hernandez gone and Rob Gronkowski constantly injured. Austin Seferian-Jenkins is a fantastic receiver who can help Tom Brady stretch the field.
29. Kansas City Chiefs Jason Verrett, CB
The Kansas City defense has been wonderful for Andy Reid this year but the secondary still remains an issue at times. Verrett is a shutdown corner who can become an interception machine. For an offense that struggles to score at times they need as much possessions as possible.
30. New Orleans Saints Ryan Shazier, LB
The Saints' defense has improved greatly under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan but it still needs some new young talent. Shazier is an athletic linebacker who can put pressure on the QB but can also be a great tackler in space.
21. Seattle Seahawks Cyril Richardson, OL
With Russell Wilson the Seahawks definitely need as much linemen as possible to protect him. Richardson did a great job protecting Bryce Petty this year and he already fits in well in explosive offenses.
32. Denver Broncos Stephen Tuitt, DL
The Broncos have struggled to get pressure on opponents this year. Much of that is due to the loss of Von Miller but drafting Tuitt from Notre Dame should still help.
