In the first round of the NCAA tournament the 13th seeded Cleveland State squad beat the ACC power house 4 seeded Wake Forest team. The Cleveland State squad beat the Wake Forest squad 84-69. Wake Forest has been disappointing at the end of the season in the ACC and out of the tourney.
