SE:The NFL Says Good Bye

Steve McNair, quarterback of both the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens was found dead in his condo on July 4, from a gun shot. The NFL will certainly honor the retired star. I personally thought McNair as a great player on and off the field. Good bye Steve McNair.

The NBA Draft Is Over

The NBA draft finished last night. Blake Griffin was picked number one, which was no surprise followed by Hasheem Thabeet. Then with the third pick in the draft, Oklahoma City passed up Spain star Ricky Rubio and went with Arizona State star James Harden. Then, the Kings passed up Rubio, too and went with Tyrke Evans, formerly of Memphis. Then the Timberwolves finally snatched Rubio and following that up, Johny Flynn of Syracuse. The T-Wolves had six picks in the draft and got UNC's Ty Lawson, who was later traded to Denver. Next came antoher UNC player Wayne Ellington, the fourth guard picked by Minnesota. In the second round the T-Wolves grabbed Nick Calathes and Henk Norel, who played with Ricky Rubio. Tyler Hansbrough, one of the best collge basketball player ever was picked by the Indiana Pacers at 13. It was a great draft.

LSU Takes Care of Texas

The LSU Tigers took care of the Texas Longhorns in the College World Series finals. They beat the Longhorns big, 11-4 as they win their sixth CWS title. It took three games for the LSU Tigers to beat the Longhorns. Can't wait until next year.

SE: USA Defeats Spain in Confederation Cup Semifinals

The USA played the undefeated Spain in the semifinals of the Confederation Cup as they advance to the final. They will either play South Africa or Brazil. In the semifinal, USA shutout one of the best teams in the world in Spain and will probably face another great team in Brazil. Anyways, this will give USA confidence for the World Cup.

NBA Draft: What Will Happen?

This year's draft brings a whole new trio of stars to the NBA. Among them include Blake Griffin, an obvious lock at number one, Hasheem Thabeet, the huge center from Connecticut and Ricky Rubio, the star all the way from Europe. I believe that they will be drafted in that order. Also, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Mike Miller and Randy Foye to get the fifith pick in the draft. They also added Etan Thomas.

Rubio of Spain will probably be picked third.

Should We Except Another Upset in CWS?

Fresno State was the surprise winner last year of the College World Series a with a seed of 4. They were obvouisly the surprise team of '08. Now, it's a new season. Some teams that are dangerous are: Oklahoma State, a strong bubble team. It might be enough for an okay chance to Omaha and Minnesota. I know I shouldn't be playing favorites but Minnesota is my home state and I need to root for them. Maybe Eric Decker can do something for the Gophers, or maybe he can't. I think some teams that might disappoint are: UC Irvine and East Carolina. Both teams are surprise teams to the tournament. Both seeds are going to be to much.

College Baseball Selection Show

The selection show has begun and my prediction immediately is the Arizona State Sun Devils. Many think maybe UC Irvine can do something as they are the number one team in the polls. North Carolina has made the CWS the last few years so they are also a favorite as long as Georgia who has made the CWS 6 of the last 8 years. It will be an exciting tournament.

Tim Tebow vs. Colt McCoy:Who's Better?

In the last round of the versus sweepstakes Tim Tebow faces Colt McCoy. My theories: Tebow is a stronger runner. McCoy is a stronger thrower. Both are great playmakers. All and all, though, Tebow just barely squeaks past McCoy. So Tebow is the champion of college football over Colt McCoy, Jacquizz Rogers and Sam Bradford.
