Rose Bowl Prediction

3 TCU vs. 5 Wisconsin
QB Comparison:
Wisconsin's Scott Tolzien 2,300 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, 6 interceptions
TCU's Andy Dalton 2,638 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 6 interceptions
RB Comparison:
Wisconsin's James White 1,029 rushing yards, 14 touchdowns
TCU's Ed Wesley 1,065 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns

Defensive Comparison:
Wisconsin has strong defensive end J.J. Watt who can bring the pressure and can occasionally bat down passes. In the middle the Badgers are also loaded with Mike Taylor and Blake Sorensen. Jay Valai is a beast in the secondary.
TCU has a suffocating defense led by Tank Carder in the middle at linebacker. He's a hard hitter and will help shut down the explosive Badger running game. Tejay Johnson can make interceptions and will constantly annoy Scott Tolzien.

Overlook: TCU makes their second straight BCS bowl game and this one is indeed the grandaddy of them all. Their defense has been talked about as one of the top in the nation but the offense isn't too bad either. Andy Dalton is a great passer and can make plays with his legs. Ed Wesley is underrated. Wisconsin used its powerful ground game too ride to a 11-1 mark and share of the Big Ten title. James White and John Clay will get the most carries but don't count out Montee Ball. Wisconsin will challenge but it will be tough to beat the high-riding Horned Frogs.
TCU over Wisconsin, 31-27
